The roving is drafted to the final yarn count & given the required level of twist in the ring frame. It is the conventional & most popularly used method of yarn formation due to its flexibility in terms of fiber types & the range of yarn count that can be spun.
The basic function of ring spinning is drafting. This is done by 3 over 3 rollers drafting arrangement with the double appron support. At the ring spinning drafting is done in the range of 10 to 40.
The attenuated yarn formed by drafting is weak and lack cohesion. In order to give final strength to the final yarn, twis is inserted.
the final yarn produced after drafting and twisting is wound on special ring bobbins. The built of package kept is such which is suitable for storage, transportation and further processing.
