Reach for the sunscreen because the coldest winter for more than 30 years is well and truly over.
The glorious weather experienced by much of the country this past weekend is here to stay, with large swathes of Britain basking in sunshine for the coming ten days.
Next weekend is expected to bring the hottest weather of the year so far and the good conditions will continue well into the following week.

The forecast will provide at least some solace to the hundreds of thousands of Britons forced to take a 'staycation' rather than fly to the sun because of the current airport closures.
Jonathan Powell, a senior forecaster with Positive Weather Solutions, said that the deepest freeze for 31 years was finally over.

Mr Powell said: 'Temperatures will be in the mid-teens but by the weekend we will probably see the warmest temperatures so far. They could well breach 20c (68f) by Saturday.
The good weather should continue in the following week with a decent run of about ten days for the South.'
John Hammond, of the Met Office, said that while today may bring some showers, the rest of the week will be dry and bright.
The nights will, however, be nippy. Mr Hammond said: 'We will have decent days but chilly nights, with temperatures getting down to freezing or close to freezing.'
Yesterday, as temperatures hit 19c (66.2f) in Northolt, West London, thousands headed for the south coast.
