After being mobbed by swarms of teenage girls and giving endless interviews, teen heart-throb Justin Bieber finally got time to relax today - and promptly jumped off a bridge. And while bungee jumping may not be everyone's idea of a relaxing treat, it certainly seemed to do the trick for the 16-year-old pop star. The Canadian teen idol listened carefully as he was talked through the safety procedures, before smiling as he prepared for the jump.

And while many would be fearful of leaping off a bridge, it didn't seem to worry the young star, whose grin didn't falter. Bieber was enjoying a brief period of free time during his whirlwind one-day trip to New Zealand. He headed to Auckland Bridge Bunjy at Westhaven Marina in the city, for his daring jump.
He said: 'Finally got to New Zealand last night. The airport was crazy.
'Not happy that someone stole my hat and knocked down my mama. Come on people. 'I want to be able to sign and take pics and meet my fans, but if you are all pushing, security won't let me.
'Let's keep it safe and have fun.' Police in Australia recently cancelled a gig at Sydney Harbour when too many fans swarmed the area with 10 girls fainting and eight being sent to hospital. Being mobbed by his young fans has become a way of life for Bieber, since finding fame last year with his tracks One Time, One Less Lonely Girl, Love Me and Favorite Girl.
