Dh has been sick since the first week of May. Vomiting two-four times a week. He went through a period where it was daily. Finally, Thursday he called me at work & asked me to come straight home & take him to the ER. I left right then and there. He has so much going on right now. His oxygen levels are low. He has elevated cratinin levels and kidney function is not at 100%. He was severly dehydrated. His liver has a "mass" that may be fatty tissue from his diabetes or a tumor. He has fluid in his lungs. Plus the whole vomiting for a month and a half thing...... Today they will do a scope-thing and put a camera down his throat to see if they can find anything. They have done EKG's, echocardiograms, ultrasounds, CT scans, bloodwork every four hours, and he is ready to come home and just stop the poking & prodding. I'm trying to be the voice of reason and to help him understand that he won't find relief until they find a cause and can determine a fix. The ER doctor seemed to think it was simply the effects of years of diabetes that wasn't taken care of and the body has just had all it can take.
