The Celebration Of World Tourism Day 2011
The United Nations has set aside 27th September each year to celebrate World Tourism Day as a way of fostering awareness among the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural and economic values. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Tourism: Linking Cultures” and it is an opportunity to highlight tourism’s role in bringing the cultures of the World together and promoting understanding and mutual respect through global travel.

Meanwhile, the Levante Almeriense Association of Municipalities continues to carry out projects to boost the local economy and employment in the tourist sector.
To do so, the association plans to carry out courses for immigrants and projects to promote energy development in small and medium tourism businesses, as well as helping to develop self-employment.
One of the ideas which have been suggested is to create a ‘Tourism Products Club’ which could offer benefits to clients and businesses, while respecting the environment.

However, this forum and it's events should be advertised just like any other forum at Aimoo. I would appreciate it if there were no more announcements (yellow stripes) at the top of my forum.
Thank you.
