In our Private Message option, there is the Ignore List that can be used to add forum monikers of those you choose not to be contacted by. I used it recently and yet this evening received a message from the very person I'd added to that List. I followed the instructions given. Is there something I may have missed? Or a glitch with the Ignore List?

Did you assure that you put in the exact user name and submitted the change? If so, we could try it - send me a pm, add me to your ignore list, and then I will try to send you a pm; if you receive it nonetheless, there must be a glitch in the system.

I did put in the exact spelling and submitted the change.

I'm up for a test on the system. Let me PM you, add you to my Ignore List, and then see what happens.

ETA: Okey dokey! PM sent, your moniker is added to the Ignore List.

Strange - I tried to send you a pm, but received this message: "Sorry! Smallhaven refused to receive messages from you or all members."

This means, it worked at least this time. Does that moniker include any strange signs, perhaps a double underline, and you put in just one? Just wondering what might be the reason?!

RE:Ignore List

I copied and pasted the moniker off the profile and pasted it on the Ignore List. No typing involved.

Oh, and it was the only moniker I added or have on the list.

Let me go remove your name off that list since I don't want to ignore you.

That's really strange - perhaps Phat or Gove know what the reason might be; or...did you copy my name too, or did you actually type that? I know that with some pages/functions, copying does not work sometimes.

I copied and pasted your name like I did the other one.

Why it worked with you and not the offender is beyond me.

Hey Ghost, Send it to all of them, and to CS - screen shots.

That will cover all your bases.

As for banning, your best bet would be to pm a mod or admin to get that answered.

Yes, that's me and Cheddar saying "Hoppy Easter!" back in 2009. My hair is red again now.

Sorry, you fail! Each pair is a neutered mixed pair. Misty is too young to be fixed, but George is done. She'll be next in a few months.

Do they know how to play hide-and-go-seek?

Well, they're probably pretty good at "hide" , but unless you're holding a handful of carrots, not so good at "seek"....

RE:Ignore List

No probs.  I'm used to doing all the seeking.

It was Willow's (my Dutch mini) favorite game.  She'd let me know she wanted to play by making a little leap and running like hell.  My job was to creep around the apartment saying, "Whe-e-ere's Willow?  Willlooooow!  Where IS that bunny?"

As soon as I'd find her behind something, under something, or just around the corner, I'd say, "THERE's Willow!"

Runrunrun, hide again....

If I was reall quiet, she'd poke her nose out from under, behind, (or around the corner).  "THERE's willow!"  Runrunrun.

She especially loved to run slipping and sliding through the kitchen.

I'm trying to picture Sherlock McDuck, with her magnifying glass,  trying to find a Bunny who has found the perfect place to hide.  Believe me, that picture is clearing up now - and Vol, it ain't pretty.  HA
