Groupon promos include made up words and scenarios, trying to be funny...amusophile I took to mean "people addicted to amusing themselves" which would be a pretty accurate description of a casual game player, lol..

I was very impressed with how many personal touches the young couple were able to make into all the pomp and circumstance...and I loved how they borrowed Prince Charles' Aston Martin convertible and drove through the London streets, I heard that was unexpected by everyone...I wish I could hear Prince Harry's best man speech...reports are he's going to be teasing his brother quite a bit...looking forward to the newlyweds visit to Canada for July 1 celebrations! Too bad I'll still be so far away....

From the news reports we are getting here, the Middleton Family and the Royal Family are paying for it themselves, it has also been reported that the Royal family costs their citizens 1# per year per person, and to me that seems like a bargain for the dedication and fundraising abilities of the Monarchy, in addition to the publicity that they bring to various causes...the Royal couple have also requested charitable donations in lieu of any gifts....the tourism $$$ plus the $$ that have been spent on outfits for the guests, let alone food and lodging for the guests and in addition the tourists from all parts of the world who have come to be a part of the day, must be astronomical, a real push towards gearing up the British economy, not to mention the incredible publicity by all the worlds news media...and also a great training exercise in security measures for the upcoming London Olympic games..with all the doom and gloom in the world, it is occasions like this (and the Olympic games) that provide a boost to peoples spirits. It goes a long way to boosting morale, to rekindle patriotism and pride in yourselves and your country....and the goodwill and economic possibilities it creates lasts for decades and is not easily forgotten, and it is estimated that 1/3 of the worlds population will be watching, a real bargain for the tourism advertising budget, I think....

I think coverage for me starts at midnight (Pacific Time) and the actual wedding starts at 2:00 AM...I love seeing the hats, especially the "fascinators" and speculating on the dress....I agree the Prince isn't as cute as he used to be, but he's an improvement over his Dad...a little surprised he's going bald, I don't recall seeing that in his family at such a young age...

I'm looking forward to watching all the wedding festivities, and planning to stay up and watch it live...as I did for Charles & Dianna...but that was accidental, lol...I was feeding newborn twins at the time....anyone as interested as I am? I've been scarce around here because of all the tv programming about the event...and a bit lacking in sleep too!
