It looks like we have a number of people here who like to play at Pogo! Please share your Pogo ID and games you like to play there. Maybe we can have Pogo nights/days and meet in a room and play and chat together!

I am:  phatkhat-one

I play:

  • The badge challenges - usually.
  • Poppit/Pop Fu
  • Phlinx
  • Solitaires:
  1. Addiction,
  2. Free Cell
  3. TriPeaks
  4. World and First Class
  5. Rainy Day Spider
  6. Aces Up!
  • Bingo: Luau and Everyone Wins (I like Dottie, but it's too fast for chat)
  • Bowling
  • Jigsaw Detective
  • Dice City Roller
  • Lottso
  • Canasta
  • Mahjongg Garden

I am sandyleecox at Pogo.  They wouldn't let me use my real name (Pamela Lee Anderson).  LOL   Oooooh, I  love you, Tommy!

I play Scrabble and do a lot of the challenges.  Hop around the other games too.  Willing to try anything, but RISK sucked, and so did the Rat Miner.

cptduzr - but I am NOT a club pogo member - hubby is paned - he loves to play club pogo when they have the free days, but for the life of me I cannot get him to splurge for the club - he is seriously addicted and plays everyday - he loves the solitaires, the farmmatchyone, and wordwhomps.

I am sckoontz on Pogo.  I play the challenges each week and the crossword everyday.  I play a lot of different games but do not like the pokers and the slots unless they are for badges.

My favorites are:

-All word games, especially word whomp

-All solitaire games

-Mahjong Garden

-Mahjong Safari

Actually, I guess I like most all of the games except the two types mentioned above...not too good at poker and get bored with slots.  I do find that I prefer to play for a goal of some kind vs just playing.  I suppose that is due to my involvement with casual games.... gotta have a mission!

I think it would be fun to meet in a room and play and chat.  I am available primarily in the evenings (Eastern Time) when I just sit with the computer in my lap for hours! I am free most anytime on the weekends.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Hope we can pull it together.

Okay Peoples!  I leave you alone for ONE day (I spent it at POGO) and come back to find that you have managed to change the price structure at BF.  Good One!!!

Does anyone else think the Monopoly is really  awful?  I have about 4 hours in the game  and am only about half way there.  I keep getting players who want to buy and trade and build hotels, etc.  I just want to get it done!

Hey Boopers, I have 7 trial memberships up for grabs if hubby wants one.

Just a reminder that it is Monday and for all you POGO players to get your free 40,000 tokens.  I wouldn't care about them except I enter them in the drawings.  I've been collecting them every Monday for weeks and they really add up!

Just wandering around tonight and discovering all kinds of interesting threads.  How did I miss these??? OP - how do you get the 40,000 tokens on Monday?  I have been so angry for 2 weeks over that dumb domino challenge and their response to their error that I have stayed away from everything but the crossword.  I am over my "fit" now so back to the challenges....

Hi Vole.  It has changed a little, but there are still free points to be had.  Scroll down to bottom of Home page and click on PROMOTIONS.    You should see "Unrivaled Mondays" listed.  Go to EACH of these games on Monday and they each will give you 2323 points for 23,230 points. (You don't have to play, just go to the game long enough for your award pop-up to show up.)  Then there is the 10 trivia questions for 10,000 points which you can get any time, either once a week or every two weeks.  Also 500 points each for going to Bingo and Scrabble which you can get daily.  They did have 3 jigsaw puzzles for 10,000 each but they are done.   I check in there everytime I go to  POGO  as new ones are added and have got a lot of points to use on the contests since I could care  less about amassing points.

This is really a "duh" moment.  I have played for years and never looked at that link! I don't care about the tokens building up either  - I've just never had much to spend them on except premium badge albums.  Now I shall check out all the links, including the drawings.  Thanks!!

If any of you POGO players didn't have time to do the Spike World Wide Token Hunt over the  last two weeks, Here is the URL to get your 50,000 points:

           http://www.pogo.com/pogo-prizes-promotions/tokenPromotions/spikestokenhunt/iwlvniresa/index.jsp

(And since it is Monday, if you go to Unrivaled Monday Promotion, you can get another 23,230 points!)

I know this is an old thread, but I just signed up for a years membership at Club Pogo....my screen name is LynneD53, and I'm usually playing  first class solitaire, word whomp, or freecell....I couldn't resist the price of $29.95 for a whole year...and my competitive spirit really shows up when I'm going for a badge, lol...

Will keep my eye out for you at POGO Lynne.  There area few of us here.  I am a sucker for the badges and have found myself spending hours on a game I hate to earn a stupid badge!  (Golf, bowling, RISK....need I say more.)  I like your top choices also plus some others.

What is it about those badges, lol...I'm playing a new one now called Äces Up" a funky kind of solitaire...because its got a FREE badge...long ago when I was a member, all badges were free, now it seems they are rare...and this challenge is pretty tough!

Aces Up is one of my favorites.  You still get at least 3 free badges a week to work for, last week there was five (three of them your choice.)  I am not sure why a "virtual" badge award thrills me so much.  I am the only one who sees them.  Some of the darn challenges  take hours to do, but count me in every time.  (Oh, I am sandyleecox over there.)

Glad you joined Lynne.  I love Pogo.  I just have to have the badges as well.  I like Aces Up but this badge is taking forever.  Not as bad as some though - I don't like any of the badges that are 100% chance but I suffer through them.  I'll watch for you as I am often in the same games as you.  I'm working on a premium badge as well so I have a lot of games going right now.  Too fun.
