DH just laughed at me and pointed out that the game had now become acquiring coupons and free games rather than playing games.
Then he asked my how much I had spent in gathering my coupons and I was shocked that I had spent $45 US without stopping to add the purchases up.
I had forgotten I was spending money in my enthusiasm to acquire coupons!

LOL, you know the sad thing. 12 months ago I would not have a problem using up 15 coupons, even in one month. Now I am thinking that finding 15 games in the next 3 months is a tall order. The only saving grace is I have given up on CE's since Puppetshow so good chance to use them on some SE games.
Worth wating for an SE for $3.00 then spending $14 for wallpapers- (keeps convincing self!)

You know, I have never bought a CE. Never could see the value in one more chapter and never wanted the wallpaper.
I do agree about the number of games. A year ago I would have already spent the 15 coupons by now. I actually had 18 coupons - 3 from last month - and bought Dark Ritual, the latest Chronicles of Mystery, and .....the 13th skull. Hadn't played it (obviously or I wouldn't have bought it now) and want to see what everyone complained about.
There are a couple I am waiting for the SE for but not many actually. But the coupons, well, the coupons make me feel rich in gaming possibilities.

Cuddle, you have to look at this in the right perspective. Tell DH that you are actually a very smart shopper and not to look at it as spending $45. He needs to view this as SAVING $60. He should be thanking you!!!LOL

Thank You PR. I now have 24 coupons! Add to this the 4 more coupons they will earn for 30! Went to BF this morning and couldn't find anything to buy! I have always been a game hoarder. Now I can be a coupon hoarder! (I wish we could add these to our Ebates purchases.)

I just bought 3 coupons for $3.00 also.
I have to use the coupons by some date in August. Do all coupons have a "use by" date?
Is each $3.00 game good for an SE game? And why don't I ever read instructions?
ETA: Just copied this from the Buffalo site. I may not know anything further about Groupon, but I am amused by the following:

Hi Sable. Yes they all have an expiration date but you shoulkd be able to find your games before then.
Yes you can use them on any SE $6.99 game.
Wow, as to the amount of downloaders, if even a 10th of the downloaders buy, that is a pretty darn good intake of $$$$$$ for a day!

That figure seemed a bit high to me, especially since they just celebrated they celebrated their one billion download a short time ago. But they are doing more business now than when they started in 2007.
I googled amusophile to see if I could come up with a definition. I didn't, but I did find a lot of coupon offers for those $3.00 coupons. I can't verify how safe those companies are though.

If those are the ones that expire 7th August, you won't get the codes until tomorrow. You should have got a warning box when pressing print.

I was never very good at math! Yes, I meant the 4 free coupons for buying 24 = 28!! Of course we get a free game for buying a game in May so this makes 29.
Actually, I only get 21 coupons! On the order from Buffalo this a.m., I got no code #'s. I sent them an email asking why and this is what I got.

edit: well she has said we can't purchase from mulitple cities but the other cities gave us valid codes plus let the transaction go through.

Can I ask a stupid question addressed to all here? The instructions say I must "print" the coupon. Can I just bring it up on screen and do a copy and paste to the BF game I want?
I just hate the thought of dismantling the laptop, dragging into another room and plugging it into the printer. (Man, am I lazy or what?).
Just a thought. Plus, I think I've run out of paper. bummer for me, huh?

There shouldn't be any problems just saving a copy to the puter. That's what I have done for all the ones I've got. And if you mislay one you should be able to go back onto the Groupon site and 're-print' the one that is missing.

And, being caught up in the craziness as I am, I almost bought a time at a Dude Ranch for some astronomical price from Groupon. That will teach me to be more careful (I hope).
I was clicking merrily away, and had a "Homer Simpson Duh" moment. Wait, what, Dude Ranch? Is that a Big Fish game? Will I like it?
