Certainly looks like it. It is a bit suspicious, once complaints are piling up, the help forum all in a sudden ceases to exist.

The Help forum is back up now-  not that it is much "help" in this instance but it is useful to stay in touch with each other.

This message is now at the top of our forum

Sorry for all the inconvenience! Some forums have been transferred to other servers, please do not worry. We will fix it soon. Admin

Nothing much to say about that, only the quicker we move the better and we are working on it!  As soon as everything is set in stone we will let you know.

Well, something else new & different.

When you read a forum post, it doesn't show it as "read" - it still shows it as "new" & "unread."

Gee, I'm so glad they moved our forum to a server that isn't having any problems.

That's strange Katy, mine are behaving themselves. Obviously that doesn't mean they are going to continue behaving though.

Looks like they are fiddling around with things to try and "fix"  obviously applying bandaids and moving things around - honestly....

Not sure how long we are back up for this time-

For downtime  - I made a temporary forum we can communicate about whatever we want

http://s4.zetaboards.com/The_Pub_Refuge/forum/3559933/

I have messaged folks on my contact list and those who posted in the Help forum but anyone else- please feel free to go there and post when the forum here is down.

It's free so don't click on the ads at the top!

Thanks so much Gove.  I really had a panicky feeling today when I tried to sign on and it was down and the help place wasn't cooperative.  I even went to the other forum to see if there was a new post and there was nothing...... sounds like a true addiction to me!!  I know this is hard on all of you, and very disappointing,  with all the hard work you put into the birthday celebration and everything else.   I really appreciate all your hard work to keep us informed.  I know everyone else agrees!  You mods are something special!! Nothing wrong with a belated birthday party anyway....

Thanks for the link Gove.  I saved it on my computer so I could access it if the pub was down.

No worries, guys.  Let us hope we don't need it too much, but Aimoo track record right now is
I don't think any of us believe they are fixing anything anytime soon.

Glad to see the forum is up today.  Another bookmark, thank you Gove.

My feet are getting tired of trudging all over the 'net trying to get in, lol.

Lol, had to go to that other place, sign in, leave a message, and then came back here and everything's tickety-boo right now.

It does seem that this forum is down daily from about 10:00 a.m. to Noon every day.  Is this when maintenance is happening?  I'm sure it's coincidental that Aimoo always seems to be down when I'm starting my computer up, lol.

J/K, I know it's not me

it is up and down all the time, sable.
At least the last few days it hasn't been longer than a few hours-  those 15 hour stretches sucked-

but the whole thing is screwed right now- our links don't work- IP addresses don't register-
I have heard of having to get worst before it gets better- but Aimoo are taking that concept to a new level!

I rather think, with Aimoo, we're getting the worse before it turns worst possible. But that might be me ... people have accused me of being a pessimist, although I say I'm a realistic optimist.

Oh, c'mon.  How can you beat the daily cliff-hanger anticipation of waiting to see if you can get in or if your post will actually post?
