Exodus 14:13-14 NKJV

13. And Moses said to the People, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.
14. "The Lord will fight for you, and hold your peace."

So what we have here is the the children of Israel had the sea in front of them and Pharaoh's army approaching them.  So fear came upon them, and they started to question the decision of following Moses out of Egypt. Moses replied to them that they need to remain still and they will see the Lord deliver them from Pharaoh's army. The sea was opened and the sons of Israel were able to cross over safely and then saw the destruction of Pharaoh's army.

Our lives are like a river, you will find still waters, then all of a sudden the river will have rapids.  We will have a time that life is smooth like the still water, but then problems will arise like the rapids happen in our trip down the river.  And some of those problems will cause fear to come to us wondering how we are going to solve them.

Psalm 23:2 NKJV

2. He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.

Instead of letting fear to set in when a problem comes our way that seems to hard to figure out how to solve the problem.  We need to stop and find a quiet place and pray to Christ to help us keep calm and an way to solve the problem.

Revelation 7:17 NKJV

17. "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every ear from their eyes."

Christ will lead us through those rapid waters.  And through Christ we will find the solution. So do not fear but trust in the Lord.

Psalm 4.3-4 NKJV

3. But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly;
The Lord will hear when I call to Him.
4. Be angry, and do not sin.
Meditate within your heart on your bed and be still.  Selah

The Lord will hear our prayers, and it is to get angry, but do not sin while you are angry.

Psalm 107:29 NKJV

29. He calms the storm,
So that the waves are still.

So we need to stay calm and let Christ handle the storm that has come our way.  In so in doing we will not let our anger over the problem lead us to sin, but letting Christ bring us peace and comfort during the storm of rapid water.

So like what Moses said to the children of Israel, we need not to be afraid and stand still, a see the salvation of the Lord., which He will accomplish for us.

God Bless,
Have a good day,
John T. Begin
