Galatians 6:2 NIV

2.  Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

John 13:34-35 NIV

34. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
35. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

To see what Jesus said about love one another, I have to go back in my memory to see what it was like.  Where neighbor would help neighbor, see smiling faces. feel safe walking down the street.  People saying God Bless you if you sneeze.  Seeing Christmas decorations showing the manager that Christ was born in, etc. A time that it was safe to go to school. etc.  Even in the Political world we didn't see what we are seeing today.  For if a person lost the election, you didn't see the lost party attack the person who won, as they are attacking Pres. Trump.  They accepted their defeat and moved on to other things.  When Gore lost the elections for President he didn't come out and say that the election was rigged, he took it as it happened and moved on. Even though he like Sec. Clinton won the popular vote but didn't get enough electoral votes.

What really gets me is the attack we are seeing against people that practice their Christian believes.  Something I didn't see when I was young.  What I saw and lived through was the Race issues the riots that were happening so a certain race to have the same benefits that one race has.  Which of course wasn't following Jesus new commandment.  But things have improved not perfect but a start in the right direction.  I lived through the Viet Nam war, with the demonstrations against the war.  The worst thing in my opinion is the use of drugs that got it's start with those Viet Nam demonstrations, and that drugs have now increased to a epidemic situation.

Finding stories about how some people that show love for another is hard to find in the news. You have to go back a few pages in the newspaper, or it will be near the end of a news cast.  What we see or read first is the bad that is going on, where we do hear something about praying for those that have gone through a terrible situation.  Then we see that the victims will sue someone or a company that caused the situation.  Or just play the blame game.

When I was 9 years old my dad was killed in a car accident.  My dad's parents wanted my mother to sue the mother of the boy that caused the car accident.  But my mother, followed Christ new commandment wouldn't do it.  She felt that this mother also lost a love one, and was responsible for the accident.  So why put a burden on her of having to pay the price of what her son did. So my mother helped the other mother in their time of burden in the lost of a loved one.

So for us the true followers of Jesus Christ we need to carry the burden that we as Christian together and so that we are following Christ commandment.

God Bless,
Have a good day,
John T. Begin
