All-new Chevy Caprice police car in 2011

Be on the lookout, the cops will get the all-new Chevy Caprice car in 2011. The modern full size sedan will offer both V-8 and V-6 engines. I guess the V-8 will go to the cops and the V-6 will go to the meter maids.
Unlike your “civilian” passenger car, the Chevy Caprice has been developed especially for police duty (fine, please toss out that V-6 engine option). The powerful 6.0L V-8 with Active Fuel Management technology and E85 (ethanol) capability is expected to accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 6 seconds. More donuts anyone? The V-8 engine is able to muster out 355 horsepower and 385 lb-feet of torque.
Inside the Chevy Caprice is outfitted with all sort of modern gadgets. A front-seat computer with a large LCD touch-screen that is connected via mobile wireless, so one touch can bring up all sort of information on a suspect.
Check out and compare with the Ford’s Taurus Police Interceptor here.
