but you contradict yourself in your own message, not everyone votes and added to that not everyone is elligable to vote. now, without knowing exaclty how many ovters are on the ward, (only the candadates would have the full list supplied to them from Gwynedd). My guess is that 1889 votes equate to about 80%. Asi said earlier, this total is far geater than four years ago when the turn out was 60%. and even if you half it by two as you suggest then we would still have 700 people coming to vote after 5pm. it still does not add up to me as it still means they had to turn up by the coach load if what you say it true. i'm not having a go, I am only stating fact. but interesting that Gwynedd has removed the percentage from their site. Perhaps COL has the numbers? The point I am making is that 1889 has to at the very least equate to over 60% and if this is the case, having the voting station at the new school has made little difference. All the other town wards were about 50% turn out. If, as you claim Roy's voters stayed away in apathy, then the turn out would have to be much lower than four years ago (60%) this is clearly not the case. I voted Roy and Ken by the way.
