Here is my Homeboy Carl (Mona Lisa) Mann singing his Christmas song  in 1959. He would have been 17 then.

Blue, I can play a couple of them. My main computer had the keyboard go out. Half a dozen keys don't work on it. I think from too many dog hairs.

This computer is an old Vista computer.

Is that the laptop you got several years ago with I think 2TB's of memory?. That sure was a lot. Almost unheard of then. If you had 500GB that was alot.

Cracker, that computer is less than two years old. I'll have to send it in to a computer store to get the keyboard clean, that and shoot the dog.

Christmas songs? I got spurs that jangle...No.No.No. I mean Jingle Bell Rock Bobby Helms who was an unknown singer.

Blue, Bobby Helms was pretty good. I wonder why he wore an eyepatch when he got older. I do have a cd of him. He was on Nashville Now once that I know of.
I guess Brenda Lee can be considered partially Country. "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" She was on an Ozark Jubilee hosted by Rex Allen. Rex called her Miss Little Dynamite.

Bobby and his older brother Freddy and their father started off playing on some local little opry show in Ind. Then they(Bobby and Freddy) played on Uncle Bob Hardy's Hayloft frolic in Ind. I met a lady at the bluegrass that told me all about it. Her aunt Darlene Wright was on it with Bobby and Freddie . (her aunt was just 16 or 17) and she would take this lady with her when they played and she (the lady) was just a little kid and would sit in Bobby's lap while her aunt was singing

Long before the rockin' holiday bug bit Bobby, he was performing on the Monroe County Jamboree in and around his hometown, Bloomington, Indiana (a small city about 50 miles south of Indianapolis), with his father, Fred Helms, and older brother Freddie who was, like himself, a guitarist. In 1950, when Bobby was 17, he made his television debut as a musician on Happy Valley Folks airing on WTTV, a recently-formed Bloomington station. Local personality Uncle Bob Hardy hosted this show and Hayloft Frolic, on the same channel starting in 1952, the later series featuring the Helms brothers with singer Bobby getting most of the attention. Hardy, impressed by his talent, mentioned him to western singing star Ernest Tubb, who hired him to appear in Nashville on his radio show The Midnite Jamboree, broadcast every Saturday from the Ernest Tubb Record Shop, which had been in business since

this was my first computer. I bought it in 2002 right after thanksgiving. Not too long beforeI joined your group Gary. Mabe a few months. I was lurking for a few weeks, then I joined if I remember right. I think you only had 4 or 5  members mabe just 3. My ex girl friend bought a real expensive toshiba desktop around 1995. I remember it had windows 95 0n it.I used it until she ran me off and I had to get my own this was 2002. I remember it was quite a bit more advance than hers was. It was a really sweet little laptop. I expanded it to 512 MB later.
