Re:Anyone watch 'Mrs. Brown's Boys'?

It is on at 11.05pm.
Possibily it is on late because of the swearing - as there is a lot of it by Mrs. Brown - but in a humourous way.
My Gran would have been absolutely horrified at the programme.
She was a very polite person and would never have uttered a swear word in her life and certainly never allowed swearing in her home - so the programme is not representative of her in any way whatsoever.
But there are things about the Irishness of it that strikes a cord - which I find hilarious.
The actor who plays Mrs. Brown t(he mother), is such a hoot.
Last week he said something about being a mother which had the audience (it is filmed live) going, 'Awwww'.
And then he says, "No need to go awwww. I'm only a fella in a dress.'"
The audience (and me) irrupted with laughter.
As it is a re-run, I've seen it before but it still so funny I laughed so much last Friday I was frightened I'd do a damage to my back.
If anyone who decides to watch it has any continence problems, you had best make sure you go to the loo beforehand, as you could well end up having an 'accident'.
In one of the programmes, Mrs. Brown forgets her handbag and to the amusement of the audience, she walks back through the sets to fetch it - all the while it is being filmed.
On another programme a piece of scenery doesn't work and she makes some remark about that too - s/he is a real professional entertainer.
I really do hope you enjoy it pinkandpurple, and won't be disappointed if it isn't tickle your funny bone.
