hossylassBless your heart, i admire you for having a go at helping your friend with the car, i hope you are OK, the best i can do is fill up with petrol and pump the tyres (only do that when they really need doing) as it takes so long to get the hose around to all 4 tyres, and usually end up with some grumpy old man tut tutting behind me, waiting to use the tyre pumper upper thingy!!!

Ah
offworldAre you talking about a Twin Tub machine, i think they work differently than the front loaders that i have, i used to have a twin tub many yrs ago, as did my parents, i had to prise my mother from her twin tub and get her a front loader automatic machine, as she was spending ages with the tongs removing the clothes from the washer bit to the spin section, and she is 80yrs old !!
You are very mechanically minded, clever you,
Posted on 10/11/2011 2:09 PM
1600 is a very high spin, i would be worried that my clothes would come out all crumpled, or the machine would spin across the kitchen !! the max i use is 1200 even though my machine goes to 1400.
And i don't have a dryer, i have a clothes airer too, as i don't have the space in the kitchen for a tumble dryer. i did have a combined washer / dryer but the dryer was pretty useless, it took ages for towels to dry, so when that conked out i opted for just a washer.
Have a play around with the different spin cycles, as certain fabrics have different spin cycles

Watched last nights catch up, and Aaron is still being his sulky self, although eventually him and Jay sort of made up, but Jay did seem to do all the talking
The last of the housemates had a "makeover", which was quite fun to watch, Alex got her dreadful roots sorted, and Louise had a fringe cut into her long hair, which really suits her, mind you she would look lovely in a plastic sack, you can see whey she is a model. Aaron had his "bits" waxed, hilarious and Tom had a trim
Anyway, tomorrow is the final and i am going to predict:
Aaron will be out first, then Louise, then Jay, then Tom and the winner will be Alex
Of course i may be totally wrong, but who wins "you decide"

Hey
KizzyFaye was not emotional at all in her interview, she still pledged her love for Aaron!! No doubt she will be in some celebrity gossip mag, doing the usual interview.
Well it seems BB is not bothered if they share the money once outside of the house, it is up to them what they wish to do once the show has ended, they all pledge they will of course share equally. I think Jay seemed the most upset that there would be no 100k winnings.
Alex was having a cry in the diary room that she was in the final, and how the money would change her life, even if she only won a small amount, as she would be able to re-pay her granddad for her car insurance, she seemed genuine
Alex to win

I just registered

No big surprise this week, I thought Faye would be evicted
Into the the last week now, and BB has come up with yet another twist with the winning money, i think they are planning to split the remaining money evenly, once the winner receives the 50k, seems fair to me.
Well my bets are on Alex to win, with Tom as runner up!!, but who knows, you decide !!

Glad you had a good "Day after Birthday"
Sory for belated wishes

Surprise evictions again!!
Silly Aaron didn't play the game, but whats worse is he pretended he got the nomination process wrong, but in in fact he knew what he was doing by putting Louise up for eviction. He stuck to what he wanted to do and has upset the rest of the house
And of course him and Faye have had another fall out for a change!!
Well personally i think Faye will go this week,
Still loving Alex and Tom

Thanks for your reply
Ditchdweller, its all getting a bit too much now, and feeling a bit run down, hence the shingles!! Of course that is if i still have a job to go too, NHS where i work has just merged and we have been offered voluntary redundancy, which i did not take, as i need to work for as long as i can (until i drop no doubt).
Also a few of the other secretaries have been just been made redundant, and us who are left are not being told whats happening and what will be happening in the future,
Sorry if i have gone off topic, just needed to have a wee rant
Thanks for listening,

Just watched last nights episode, the chipmunk task was quite funny, and Tom on his secret cleaning mission (i do like Tom).
Poor old Aaron, not joining in with the R&B music, gosh he does moan a lot, mind you, he must feel like he is their dad sometimes.
Jay's farting is not amusing me, urghhh, how on earth does Louise put up with it, mind you she is just as bad.
Still enjoying all the goings on!!

My mobility car lease is up next September, i may look into purchasing the mobility car (ford fiesta) and pay if off monthly, obviously will have to tax, insure it and get AA or RAC cover, but unsure how much it will be to insure the car etc.
That's if i get DLA again, if not i'm scuppered, i will have to get to work somehow, bus is out of the question, 2 buses and long walks, which is not really do able for me.
Hey ho, will worry about that when the time comes,
Got sent home from work today as i have shingles, just what i blooming well need, the blisters are on my spine, not the best place to be as i have a spinal cord tumor. i got a weeks worth of anti-virals and told to rest.!!!

Wow that eviction surprised me, i didn't see that one coming
Quite liked Harry, well i didn't dislike him, he was just sort of there in the background.
Of course Fay and Aaron are all over each other once more,
urgghhh, wake up Faye, he doesn't love you, he is in lust with you.
Hey ho, lets see what surprises this week brings, only 14 more days to go, well actually 13 now.
Alex to win ( or Tom) haven't made my mind up yet, but either will do!!!!

I work part-time, i get Working Tax Credit and DLA, high rate mobility part
Thanks in advance for any replies

At last Jem has gone, phew, i was getting a bit fed up with her shall or shan't i go. It was the best decision for her and the rest of the contestants, although Faye was upset, i think the house will be more settled now they wont have to put up with the sisters squabbling all the time
Well who will be evicted tonight,
hmmm, Me thinks Aaron possibly or even Faye, or both, that would be the best result, getting fed up of the two of them and their on / off relationship!!
Alex or Tom to win!!
Posted on 26/10/2011 12:17 PM
Just watched last nights catch-up, I wont say who is up for eviction in case i spoil it for anyone, but lets just say i wasn't shocked at all. The delivery of the nominations was a pleasant surprise!!
Alex and Tom are definitely having a snog, oh er, i thought he was gay!! or maybe not,
And one of the nominees may be going out through the back door, oh the drama of it all, just cant get enough!!
Who will go, you decide!!
Posted on 25/10/2011 12:54 PM
Well lots of
Hanky panky going on with Jay and Louise!! gosh the bedroom scenes are getting a bit steamy now with them too snogging and stuff!!
I think J
em will be nominated this week, what with all her "should I stay or should I go", (I can hear a song coming on ). But not sure who else will be nominated, maybe also Aaron??
Still enjoying the tasks, especially the secret ones, the burping one was hilarious, poor Aaron,
And the task in diary room where they had to draw a line from red dot to blue dot, the distractions were so funny, what with dancing girls, farting old men, and scary clowns, Tee hee !!

I received a letter to say that my blue badge is up for renewal, enclosed was a form that needed to be filled in, 2 passport photos required and proof of disability.
Sent back the form with passport photos and proof of disability in the enclosed envelope, it cost me £20, and my new badges were sent to my by post approx. 2 weeks later

i am livid, so posting again!!!!!!
As i live on my own and can no longer ask my son to drive my motability car for me, with me in it as he lives more than 5 miles away, to go to the shops, chemist etc, Shall i just go ahead and ask a local stranger if they would like to be the second named driver!!
May as well just ask the 65 yr old neighbour (who dosnt speak to me) if he would like to drive my car, what a load of b.....ks!!!
I am fuming, fuming fuming,!!!
