There are several disability supply stores in and around Bournemouth. Have you tried Bridges at Horseshoe common (if they are still there)?

What a shame - I'm just looking for something else to read when I am bored!

I have found one tri-walker (3 wheeler) with a seat, although it only takes up to 20 stone, is made to order and costs £200+ ! smiley73

It sounds as if a bariatric rollator would be the best thing. I have seen 4 wheeled ones with seats, but not 3 wheeled ones.

Maybe have a look here for some basic info

Being a forum junkie, I have tried to join the Broken of Britain forum. I seem to have bbeen directed to 2 different sites (Yuku and ProBoards) and both of them need me to be 'approved' in some way.

Can someone tell me which is the correct site, and what else I need to do to join please? I do love OuchToo but I'd like to have a look at others too.

It worries me to see one life being given more value than another ...

Unfortunately at first glance, this all looks very reasonable to anyone who does not have a greater understanding of the issue. If I sent this to many of my AB friends and family they would see nothing wrong with it.

One thing that makes me particularly angry is that no-one in governement sees the conflict of interest here - Unum encourage benefit cuts, provide staff to find people fit for work, want to provide 'services' to get people back into work and then sell insurance to people who are afraid that something like this might happen to them!

I've reported the article to 'Full Fact'.
