and it's not over yet On Sunday afternoon, I discovered my bathroom was flooded. Called the emergency number (it's a housing association property) and a plumber came out to have a look - he said it was my Closomat toillet that was causing the problem, and switched it off, therefore I had no toilet (good job I have a catheter), So I rang the Housing association who said they would get someone out - I cancelled my appt with the nurse (I have a ulcer on my foot that needs twice weekly dressing) and stayed in all day. By 4pm no-one had come, so I rang again to be told it would be Tuesday afternoon now, sometime after 12. Cue one more cancelled appt - can't have morning appointments cos can never guarantee what time care arrives. Closomat engineer arrives - looks at workings of toilet - switches it back on, and tells me the reason it stopped working is because it was switched off. he tells me it didn't cause the flooding which is STILL happening. Wednesday am - bathrooom still like a swamp (as fast as it mops up - still happens) another HA person arrives - who finds source of leak - BATHROOM RADIATOR, he says I need a plumber Thursday - they will be out sometime today. OH has managed ok because we have a 2nd toilet - it's not suitable for me, no handrails and I can't use a raised seat.
