Hey all, just thought I'd pop over here and start a new ship HAPPYNESS, if that's OK with everyone, I'm surprised no one's done it yet.  Are we still continuing on our grand adventure on the good ship HAPPYNESS or have we fled to the lifeboats now that the BBC has tried to sink us? :)

Capt, the best hangi I've been to was a whole pig stuffed with fruit , wrapped in banana leaves put in the hangi (a hole in the ground with hot rocks in it) covered in earth and left overnight.

Beautiful, tender and soooo tasty.

I could copy this thread to a pdf for you all but I wondered does anyone want to volunteer to do it ?

You need to use Microsoft Office, copy the posts from the top down from Views 5611 to the end of the last post on each page and not include  the Quick Reply box. Saving as 4 pdfs would be better than trying to fit everything on on pdf.

Did you all join www.ouchtoo.org hmm ?

Yes!  It's very clever - a small trapezium of pasta is folded up at one end, to make the rim, and then it is folded round into a circle to look just like a flying saucer.  Perfect with pesto, and as good when I cooked with it as it was the first time I ate it in a restaurant biggrin

I think it's only Microsoft Word 2007 or higher that allows save to pdf (I've only got Works on my computer, and that doesn't have save to pdf option and won't even allow me to paste a page of the Ship into it)

I can copy it into an e-mail, though...  then it should be easier for SunshineMeadows or similar to copy all and paste into Word2007 and save as pdf.

Unless anyone else is better able to do it, and says so before tomorrow, I therefore volunteer for the task.

Yours

Sasha Q thank you for your kind offer but the thing about using pdf format is it saves all the pictures and I dont think it would work using email then making pdf.

Kizzy,

It is long winded and we have just about got all the thread titles up so only do this is you have both time and the inclination.
:-)

I have Microsoft Office 2010 and I am using Word, but I am not sure Word 2007 saves in the pdf format so the best option is to give it a try.
Have this thread open.
Open Microsoft Word.
Highlight Views 5641 at the top, press the left handside shift key on your keyboard, keep it pressed and use your mouse cursor to scroll down in the grey bar on the right hand side. This a a quicker way to highlight the text you want. When the screen shows the last post on the page click your mouse cursor after the last word or icon, everything that should be copied is then highlighted. Click Ctrl and C keys to copy.
Go to the blank doc you have open in Word and click Ctrl and V keys to paste.
Next click on File in the top left had corner and choose Save as and options open up in a box near file. Click on PDF and another box loads.
Give the file the name>
In the lifeboats of the ship HAPPYNESS....26
and click Publish.

providing that works there are only 25 more pages to go.
~mesmerising~ but also interesting because as I have been doing this on other threads I have been reminded of what has been posted.

Sasha, it would seem that this is indeed the case - I unfortunately have the ancient Word 2003 smiley99 I don't know why I thought it was a later edition than that.  Sorry folks smiley108

Hello Kizzy Kazaer

As you are my first officer I would like you to be acting captain while I am on respite from Sunday 20th November while Sunday 27th November you do a good job + you will only marking time as we are stationery here in Whangarei North Island New Zeland before we set sail for the Gold Coast Austraila. Stalwart is nearly fit to burst after eating all that Tugi (pudding). The solar powerd paddel's are turning the Yorkshire water in the tank's keeping it oxaganited
