Childhood sweet favourites - where do I start?! - Anything with sherbert in, like the lemon boiled sweets and 'Refreshers' as aforementioned - I used to buy lemonade powder by the quarter pound and just dip my finger in the bag until it became stained yellow like a heavy smoker As it happens, my local Tesco Express is selling 'Sherbert Dib-Dabs' at four for a quid, so I picked up some and have been enjoying them of a night. They do, however, give me fizzy burps for about an hour after I used to love the 'sweet tobacco' made of coconut strips and also Edinburgh rock, which is all crumbly and melts in the mouth. You can still get these in specialist shops. No doubt I'll be back with some more...
