When I see a cat bed that I think my cats will love I can't resist buying it.

I have enough cat beds to start a cattery.

But the cats do like them though.

They follow the sun around the house and as they have beds in so many places, they bed hop from one bed to another.

No, I have never used cat beds. When we had the kittens, 20 years ago, they refused to use the bed I so kindly provided, so I haven't bothered since.

We only have a couple of cat beds, however we do have quite a number of cat blankets scattered about, and more scratching poles than cats!

My cat also has always spurned 'proper' cat beds - she prefers mine!  As for cat blankets, sometimes she likes them, sometimes she doesn't.. she prefers the soft surfaces already available, like on the carpet or sofa.  Which means muggins here having to deal with fur shreddage on a daily basis  smiley104

Last night I washed my hair and left the damp towel near my desk. Earlier today and right now my big black tabby cat is laying snoozing on it. I have had cats who sleep in their own cat beds and a cat who used to spend much of the summer time sleeping in in shrubbery near the house I lived at then. Over time I have noticed the more money I spend on a individual item for either cats or dogs the more likely they are to ignore it.

My two cats must be right a right little prince and princess as they love their beds.

Sleeping on the carpet or furniture isn't good enough for them!

Last time I was at the doggie warehouse (Pets at Home I think it is called), I noticed tents for cats.  Yes, a little replica of an adult tent.  So when you go away and spend the night in a green field, kitty can come along and enjoy the experience too!!!
How very ridiculous.

Which animal in its right mind would want to spend the night in a lonely little tent when it can snuggle down into the warmth your sleeping bag with you.  And leave all its fur and nail bits in your tent.
