Oh, the celebrity version - yeah, that was enjoyable too. I started out not knowing what to make of Paddy the fighting traveller, then I warmed to him as the days progressed and I'm quite happy he won. These that are on now are just the 'civvies'

I would rather watch paint dry.
However, I read somewhere about Jedward being in it.
Are they still in it or have they been evicted?

...Big Brother thanks you for your compliment, you may now leave the Diary Room... Yvette, Jedward were in the Celebrity version - at one time they were hot favourites to win. They used to get on my whatnots with all their silly pranks, but they were OK lads really, not an ounce of malice in them I like watching how people interact with each other when thrown together in a closed environment; BB is quite a study in group psychology

What do you think of Jay and louise getting together? they actually seem quite genuine, or is it that they are thrust upon each other for 24/7,
And the Arron, faye stuff is getting a bit boring. Faye is being a bit silly if she thinks arron is really into her, I think he is just into himself

Hi Sherbs, good to have another fan around , I was getting a tad lonely in here I agree with you about Aaron - I'm annoyed he was kept in after last week's eviction. I'd like to have seen Heaven stay, she was lively, controversial at times and entertaining, and her BB experience wasn't revolving around real or pretend romances... Not sure yet about Louise and Jay, but they do seem more 'real' than Aaron's little flirtathons...

Yes, I bet you're getting lonely, can't you see the thread has bombed?
I think it should be against the rukes for you to open threads particularly as you have the power to close threads, e.g. Beachy Head which did at least manage to attract a few interesed parties in the 7 hours it existed.
Unlike yours.
As you are clearly "in" with the Senior Management I think it is unlikely that they will offer reasoned criticism of your thread, therefore you are likely to continue in the deluded belief that you are offering an important service, just like Prince Charles and his speeches and model villages.
In fact, my main point is, Big Brother offends me deeply and causes me distress and pain. Merely the name, Beachy Head, oh, no, sorry, I meant to say Big Brother, can launch me into a deep pit of despair, for that is where I first heard the name "Jade Goody" and that is an experience / memory I do not wish to be so cruelly reminded of every time I come to the Ouch Cafe.
Kindly close this very distressing thread at once and please do not exploit your position in such a callous manner ever again.

Your tongue-in-cheek 'let's have a pop at a mod' post did make me smile, however - I guess you're gradually coming to terms with the closure of the BH thread and moving on

Kizzy,
I agree about heaven, shame she went, she was quite an interesting character.
I realise BB is not everyones cup of tea, but it is only a bit of fun, and after all if you dont like it, you can always switch over!!
I am missing the "tree" this year, or was he just there for the celeb BB,
I thought i would miss Davina on the eviction night, but i actually thin Brian is doing quite a good job

The 'tree'? What/who was that, then? I can't remember it .. Yeah, Brian's settled in real well to that host role. I'm glad they kept in the same continuity announcer as well: 'Deh Wuhn in the Big Broother house, nyen-twenty eh-em'.... Nominations tonight, but I shan't see it until tomorrow as it's on too late for me and I record it, so no 'spoilers' please

The tree, was an actual tree in the BB garden, that used to set secret tasks, (obviously a fake tree) i think it was on celeb BB when Vinny Jones was in it, it was so funny, the tree would whisper to the contestants to set secret tasks
I don't watch the show until the following day, too late for me as well, so i wont know who is up for eviction until tomorrow,
And also BB bits on the side, i only watch that on a Friday, as that's on even later, but that is quite enjoyable too, getting the audience involved.

I agree with Kizzy about BB being quite a study in psychology, but it also has a twist in the way some people (even after all the years it has been on) still think they can be two faced and win.
I can't stand Anton and the whole Rebekhah Aden thing was a bit creepy, especially when she kept saying don't kiss my face, but then she had worked at Spearmint Rhino. I like that there are a couple of Geordies in there and wish Aaron had or someone had told Jay why Aaron was so upset about the 'joke' that was made. The joke was in bad taste, I think helping Jay understand why would have been good.
I prefer this years BB on Channel 5 to probably most of the later ones on Channel 4 although I did like the Celebrity Big Brother series that Alex Reid won.
I will have to be careful about posting spoilers because it sounds like a few of you watch the shows after I do.
Sir Cumference, it is interesting that you posted as you did because the reason this thread was posted here was because we were taking into consideration that it would not be fair to keep talking about BB on the Getting to Know You thread.

Oh, that flamin Anton - what a big-headed willy-waggler he is, thinking he's God's gift to womankind. I'm surprised he hasn't been nominated more often...
Yes, Jay managed to diss both black and disabled people with his so-called joke - I'm glad Big Brother pulled him up on it!
...look away now, anyone who hasn't seen last night's yet (I watched it this morning)
**********
Faye and Maisy are up for eviction this week - interesting how the reasons given were much the same across the board. And the nominating housemates were right - there is too much maudlin blubbing from Faye of late. As for Maisy, I think she's just a little bit up herself...

BB 2011
I have been thinking about Jays reaction to Harry ordering 500 bananas, boxes of frosties, milk and food colouring instead of what people had put on the shopping list and then Harry and Aaaron's reaction to Jay putting food colouring and tomato sauce on the clothes they had washed. It looks like Jay has put a lot of work into building his body and he has emphasised his need for proper food and so having no protein or carbohydrates like bread or potatos is far worse for him then the other two having to wash their clothes again. Harry can dish it out but he can't take it.
Having Faye's sister go in on Friday will hopefully give us some 'good' tv to watch.

We need another girl in the house, they're disappearing rather rapidly! I got more and more annoyed with Harry while he was sabotaging the shopping list, especially with the ridiculous order of one thousand bottles of food colouring - what a childish display of numptyism. I'll bet when Jay was punching that cushion over and over he was wishing it was Harry's head.... Harry got off lightly only having his clothes rinsed in food dye - I'd have filled a bath with the stuff and chucked him in! 'Can dish it out but can't take it' just about sums him up - it was great when he was huffing about the prank played back on him and Jay sarcastically advised him to 'go and eat a banana' Nominations should be interesting this week....

I know Jay ended up hitting the cushions but I was impressed that he did not decide to actually go up and physically intimidate Harry by 'crowding' him. In last night program Aaaron said something about Jay looking a fool etc and it did make me think that Harry and Aaron are being elitist and the food thing was a bullying tactic. Maybe Harry was disappointed that Jay did not go mad and get kicked out. I might be baised though cos Harry seems like a typical rich kid that always thinks he is right.
Who would you like to see leave this coming Friday?

Hi Kizzy and Sunshine
Sorry have been off line for 4 days, virgin have been updating the cables and digging them up, Engineer just came this morning, so back on line now
Anyway, kizzy glad you remember the tree, it was hilarious,
Wasnt bothered who went maisy or faye, but as maisy went, a good twist with fayes sister jem coming into the house, I will be watching last nights programme today, so can catch up with all the gossip.
I dont like anton, i think he is sly, and two faced, i think he will beup for eviction, and maybe arden.
I think the jay and louise thingy is hotting up now, or is it?? not sure whether louise would fancy jay if not for being in the bb house, hmm,

Oh, Sherbs, what a pain being offline for that length of time - I dunno how I'd cope with that
I think Louise may have a rival for Jay in the form of Jem... Must say, she (Jem) did get on me whatnots when she first came in and was nagging Faye non-stop about smoking. But I'm probably biased, being a puffer myself and all! Who would you like to see leave this coming Friday?Harry, Anton or Aaron - I'm tired of their superior attitudes and over-inflated egos....

Hi kizzy
Yes Jem got on nerves a bit too, poor Faye, (I'm also a puffer, keeps me sane),
I also think Jem could be after Jay, oh er, poor Louise, i think her and Jay seem quite genuine as a couple, but who knows
Good twist with Rebecca coming back into the house, poor hard done by Arden, i really dont know how he could say he is so in love after only knowing rebecca for 2 weeks!!
i think I would like Anton to go, as not sure about him, harry seems ok, and keeps his cool, except when he had food colouring and tomatoe ketchup poured over his clothes, tee hee, i don't blame him for going mad, that was really out of order.
Who goes you decide!!!

Well, we have five to choose from this week - five!!! I can't remember so many being put up at once before... Anton or Aaron Out! Love this week's twist with BB relaxing the rules about discussing nominations - everyone's true colours (and the various alliances) - are coming out now (and I see Jay and Louise are sort of fizzling out now...she's not so attracted to him as she thought)

I loved the twist with discussing nominations this week, so funny, what with Arden get all stroppy because Louise had nominated him.
Not really surprising that Louiseand Jay have fizzled out, although, I did believe she really liked him, maybe its just all too much, as he seems a bit over-possessive, but quite sweet at the same time. Roll on eviction night

How will they cope on only a small shopping budget, especially Jay as he is a strapping lad!!

What I can't get my head round is how, on an economy shopping budget, a decision was made by more than one housemate to spend nearly a third of it on - bloody hair extensions for Alex
There'll be repercussions after that as the week grinds on and the stores get lower, I'll bet... if I was a housemate, I would have really kicked off about that!

kizzy I couldn't believe it getting Alex those awful hair extensions, what were they thinking of.
Its been the usual Arron / Faye, on / off romance , i really think that one has run it's course.
