Regardless of your team in this game, you were treated to a probably one of the best games in the MLF this year. Two champions, this year's division champ Lions vs last years conference champ Wolves. Tied early at 7 and at the half, lead change in the third when the Lions get 7, then the fourth is a different game and the Wolves score 3 and then a TD to take the lead 17-14. The Lions get it down to the Wolves 32 and kick a 39 yarder to tie it with just 1:19 to go. Then in OT back and forth in OT, until finally one play ends the battle after almost 5 quarters of tied championship caliber football. Thank you MFL!

and I'm sure I can speak for us all when I say that we don't want ANY games decided by forfeit in the playoffs, that should not ever be an option in the playoff rounds.

When you apply common sense in football terms, to the prospect of allowing teams to replace players (assuming this is due to injury or all bets are off), we can look to last year's Mariners team for instance to understand why you should allow only QB's to be replaced due to injury. Their QB was air-lifted from the field just a couple of weeks before their 1st round playoff game against the Hawks. Any team wouldn't stand much of a chance in the MFL playoffs against our blitz happy defenses if they had to then choose a QB from their roster. It is hard enough to have one good starting QB. Obviously it could kill teams chances as well as kill a teams moral when they don't have a QB. Therefore, you should be allowed to add a QB only. Period. No kicker, oh well then just go for two. We've all survived without a kicker. As for centers? Obviously important, but a guard or tackle or long snapper (see NFL teams here fellas) should be able to move over and stop gap that position for a few playoff games. And you can game plan for it at least. A guy could move to guard and not get noticed for a play or two (extra points, anything) as well. As for QB's, any team would be idiots to allow their starting QB to play any other position than his own, so there would be no questions in that regard. .

The Spartans offensive right tackle is a beast, 69 is his # I think....probably their best player too. He is huge and knows how to play the tackle position...didn't see much penetration in his side of the line when he is lined up there.

Agreed, playoff seeding should be earned not awarded. What is the tie-breaker if the Wolves and Miners tie at 5-5 (Wolves won the head to head with the Miners 22-0 earlier this season and currently have a 5-2 division record vs. the Miners 3-1 division record.)?

If the Bulldogs can come up with a 10th game, when would that be played, this weekend? , since they get the forfeit win over Philly this week? What would happen if the Bulldogs can't get a tenth game, would the Wolves still have to play the Pirahna for seeding?

In a classic battle royale, the Wolves out distanced the TS Bulldogs 24-21 in the true game of the week for week 5!
